Hugely popular report, Farage Show, a great movie, and more...
An unusual Brexit diet for a Friday

We start with a quick look back to yesterday, then something to look forward to, then some sobering thoughts, and then at the end we put you in a good mood for the weekend!
Yesterday…
Yesterday we co-published a report which had been heavily labour-intensive. Like all of our reports, however, we managed to summarise our efforts into something easily understandable and digestible – AND IT FLEW!
Our report was entitled “Mini-cab firms qualify to bring in migrants under ‘Skilled Workers’ scheme” and looked at an aspect of legal immigration into our country which we thought readers would want to know about. We had a feeling it would be popular but the reaction to it astonished us.
From the moment we posted on Twitter it took off. By lunchtime it was the biggest report we had produced in three months. By the time we appeared on ‘The Farage Show’ at around 7.30pm, it was the third-biggest in the last 12 months. It will be interesting to see where it ends up, as these things can have ‘a long tail’, meaning people sometimes hear about it days after we’ve published and the numbers keep on rising.

On such a heavy news day, with President Trump declaring the equivalent of ‘peace in our time’ (very prematurely in our view), it was perhaps not surprising that GB News did not post an ‘X’ (tweet) until after 5pm. For those of you who use X, please re-post their tweet, so they can see the reaction that we experienced with our tweets earlier in the day.
The evening – and ‘The Farage Show’
One of the top-rated news and current affairs shows on British television, we were delighted that our co-produced report was chosen as the second item after Gaza and President Trump. Martin Daubney was standing in for ‘the Big Man’ and as ever produced a highly entertaining and informative show. We were represented by Rob Bates, who is on the Board of The Campaign for an Independent Britain’ (CIBUK.org) and is also founder of The Centre for Migration Control.
Facts4EU is an Affiliate of The Campaign for an Independent Britain (CIBUK) and we act as their ‘facts engine’. Our co-production colleagues for the report were Stand for Our Sovereignty (SOS), now regarded as the No.1 organisation standing up for… yes, you guessed it, the UK’s sovereignty as an independent nation. They are a grass-roots membership organisation and we urge you to join. The more Members, the louder their voice in Westminster and the more resources they have to stand and fight. They are currently the specialist campaigning arm for CIBUK, although they hope to become independent when they get enough Members.
Here is a clip of the Farage Show last night
You will be pleased to know that we are already working on a follow-up to yesterday’s report, and you do NOT want to miss that!
‘The Independence Documentary – Director’s Cut 2025’!
At the beginning of this month we announced the imminent launch of our new movie - ‘The Independence Documentary – Director’s Cut 2025’. A professionally-produced film starring some of the best ‘box office’ politicians in the UK today, from Nigel Farage to Jacob Rees-Mogg to Ann Widdecombe! This takes the original movie, which hasn’t aged since we premiered it two years ago in Manchester, and brings it right up-to-date with the latest thoughts of our celebrities.
Originally we had expected to have premiered this by now, but a combination of some important news items (such as the Manchester terrorist atrocity), and then missing our slot with the video editing team, meant we had to postpone. We can only thank readers for their patience and all we can say is that we think it will be worth the wait!
Would you like a ‘teaser’?
Packed with such rich content, it was almost an impossible task to select some very short, clips of a few of our famous faces lasting a total of 30 seconds, but we did our best. We have done this to be able to alert the public to the release of this special version of the movie, to attract as wide an audience as possible.
What follows is merely a ‘taste’ – there is FAR more in the full movie but we’re not giving away the best parts for free! Please note these are clips from our earliest filming and from the original film. The 'Director's Cut 2025' version has more, bringing us fully up-to-date. And please ignore what it says about premiering in Manchester!
Please don't forget to hit 'Like' and 'Subscribe'!
We are pleased to tell you that we are now back in business! We are currently working with our partners – the Stand for Our Sovereignty team and CIBUK.org – and we expect the final version will be ready for a final run-through at the end of next week. As things stand, we are currently looking at premiering this the following week. This will be a unique, live, online viewing experience with special guests, at which the audience may ask questions after the movie.
How to watch the movie of the year: You have two options
Firstly, all proceeds from ticket sales go mostly to Facts4EU and Stand for Our Sovereignty, with the balance going to CIBUK and the UK Fisheries Campaign. This is all in a good cause!
1. Prestige Premiere Ticket : An online Zoom and YouTube event where you will watch the film and then be joined by some of the contributors who appeared. You will have the opportunity to ask them questions directly, on a ‘first come, first served’ basis until the session ends. You will receive the joining instructions by email. You will be able to watch the film again during the period allocated for the Limited Time ticket (see below).
Price: £ TBA
2. Limited Time Ticket : You can watch the movie online whenever you wish within a one week period. These tickets must be bought in advance and the film will be available some days after the premiere. As with the Prestige Premiere Ticket, you will receive details of how to watch by email.
Price: £ TBA
Conditions: Tickets are for one person and are strictly non-transferable. The simple purchasing system and dates will be published as soon as possible.
If we had any other option we wouldn't ask, but...
We rely wholly on patriotic members of the public to survive. Please donate today if you would like to continue reading us tomorrow, next week, and the weeks after.
Don't leave this to someone else. You are that 'someone else'.
All of which brings us nicely to…
Yes, fundraising. Forgive us, but it’s time to speak bluntly, and we speak not only for us, but for our colleagues at Stand for Our Sovereignty and CIBUK.org.
The forces ranged against us – and against the majority of law-abiding British citizens who believe in traditional British values – are not large in terms of population size. They are, however, extraordinarily well-funded. Some of these groups have offices and large staffs. Looking at their outputs, we honestly can’t imagine what half of them do all day, but we know they are well-paid, because we’ve seen the job adverts. The reason they can afford all of this is simple. They are funded by the ‘Open Society’ Foundations of a foreign billionaire.
By contrast, we – and some other hard-working organisations like us – are manned by volunteers asking you, a member of the public, to donate voluntarily. And the vast, vast majority of you don’t. Why should you? You visit the site every day and can read the output of days of hard work condensed into a punchy and factual article for free.
Paywall?
Some people say “Why don’t you have a paywall?” The answer is simple. How many of you would pay a monthly subscription? The numbers would be low and we would not reach up to half a million voters, as we did yesterday across our various channels. We are in this for the cause, not to get rich. (If only….) One or two of us gave up very well-paid jobs to do what we have been doing. We want our country back, and we won’t do that by researching and writing for 100 paid subscribers.
We can (and do) ‘shift the dial’ by what we’re doing however. We have influence. We speak to senior politicians on a daily basis. We are widely read in this country and abroad. We appear on television, and not just as ‘talking heads’ giving opinions, but as knowledgeable people talking about real research that informs the viewer.
We’ve tried fairy godmothers but none would wave their magic wands. Many feel they given enough in the past. Some are now giving to Reform UK. That just leaves you, the everyday reader. If you have never donated before, please donate today, preferably becoming a Member by donating a monthly amount so that we can budget for the future.
Or you could do nothing, and we’ll be gone by Christmas. And that would not be a great way to celebrate 10 years….
Observations
After that, we'd better cheer you up
Regular readers will remember that when we published seven days a week for many years, on Sundays we used to end with some music. Now we finish on Fridays and after what we just wrote we thought we should give you some music to change the mood.
Please, please help us to be "free as a bird now" and carry on our vital work in defence of independence, sovereignty, democracy and freedom by donating today. Thank you.
Politicians and journalists can contact us for details, as ever.
