We’re hiring! Would you like to be Editor of Brexit Facts4EU.Org?

Or a part-time Member of the Team, helping when you can?

Would suit those retired or who do not need money and want to fight for their country

It’s always so much better to start with good news, as most readers would agree. Well, the good news is that we’re hiring! We have vacancies from the role of Editor and continuing throughout all the roles involved in what makes up Facts4EU.

Typically, people on the team have worked on a flexible basis, doing what they can, when they can, and everyone works from home. No-one has ever felt committed. They have worked because they believe in the cause. Despite this seemingly haphazard method, it has worked rather well over the last 10 years.

Sadly, over the last couple of years or so people have had to leave us, one-by-one, mostly to go and do some fee-paying work. Any money they earned from their share of donations coming in was simply getting less and less and we all have our own particular tipping point.

Very recently we had a new editor lined up who was due to start last week. Unfortunately he pulled out at the last minute and so we can now offer all positions to any people interested!

What skills do we need?

Brexit Facts4EU is unlike the myriad of other pro-independence groups out there, some of whom have very well-known names and are blessed with regular donations of sizeable amounts from rich individuals who have been giving for years.

We imagine these donors haven’t actually looked at the outputs of these organisations recently, as they are pitiful compared to the daily diet which Facts4EU has been serving up for years.

Firstly, we don’t publish pure prose. Anyone can write those sort of ‘opinion’ pieces in their sleep. They never make it into the media the way ours do every week. Our reports tend to be based on research of official facts, with charts and pictures to break things up and make the pieces easily readable. Secondly, they usually involve more than one member of the team.

Sometimes one person does an outline, another does the research, the first one then writes it up, someone does some charts to liven it up, someone else does the artwork (the tile, or photos, typically).

Then it has to be edited, and then coded up, to make it look as good as possible, before it’s published and the promotional work starts. This needs someone on social media, and someone contacting the press if appropriate. Plus someone needs to do all the daily admin and bookkeeping.

Even if you can't help by joining the new team, you could still do something for the cause. We're not dead yet! We're still fighting for our country, even if we are having to scale back. You can help!
We rely wholly on patriotic members of the public to survive. Please donate today.

Don't leave this to someone else. You are that 'someone else'.

Scaling back some more

Clearly, as our numbers have dwindled, so more tasks fall to a smaller number of people. Multi-tasking has become the norm. This can only go so far… and we’ve reached that point. We started with the good news, and that’s the bad news.

We will continue to do our major Thursday report. This week’s is excellent. Unique and exclusive, as usual, and devastating news for Rejoiners, who really can have no riposte to it.

The only other person who has seen it outside “the Firm” is the editor at GB News, who wants it.

Don’t worry, it will still appear here on Thursday!

We also have something new! Someone approached our Chairman very recently, wanting to do a weekly podcast. It seems likely he will do these on Wednesdays, and they will be published here and on our YouTube Channel. These, we must say, are likely to appeal to the older segment of our readership. Very different to our usual output, we will be interested to hear what you think.

We hope still to be able to do a Tuesday report. Facts4EU will therefore scale back to three days-a-week. That’s still far more than most organisations, but not what we want to do – and nor is it what the country needs. If we could only raise more by way of donations…..

Talking of donations

Which reminds us. We also need a new fundraiser!

To give readers some idea, our current level of funding pays for our fixed costs such as hosting, email accounts, phone bills, top level of internet security (necessary when in our game, sadly), pro-level of Zoom, subscriptions, licences, etc. It also nearly covers a typical report (but not one like Thursday’s), if people work for a pittance or nothing. Everything else has been covered by our Chairman for years but he can no longer afford to do this.

How to apply

Simple! Just send us an email. You will get a fast response, we assure you! This is vital work. If Fact4EU were to stop completely, who else would uncover the unique, weekly stories which make it into the press? Who else would call the Government to account on these? Who else would campaign so hard and so passionately for an independent, sovereign, democratic nation with all its freedoms? Who else would lobby our politicians?

Working at Facts4EU is incredibly rewarding, knowing that what you’re doing is for your country. Play your part. Enquire now!

Best regards,
The remaining Brexit Facts4EU team
